On June 12nd, 2022, the International Nursing Academic Forum on "Integration, Innovation and Development" of Hebei Medical University, hosted by the International Cooperation and Exchange Division and co-organized by the School of Nursing was successfully held. The theme of this forum is "Integration, Innovation and Development". Experts and scholars from Japan, Australia and Hong Kong gave academic lectures. Around 300 teachers and students attended the forum.
Wu Yuming, member of the Party Standing Committee and Vice President of Hebei Medical University, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. She pointed out that in recent years, the international exchanges between our university and foreign universities have become increasingly strengthened. At the same time, the School of Nursing has made breakthroughs in cooperation in running schools, teachers training and Asian Nursing Scholarship program. It is believed that this forum, with the participation of outstanding experts and scholars from home and abroad, will bring us the latest developments and advanced ideas in the development of nursing field so as to further promote the nursing discipline and professional development of our university.
The forum was co-chaired by relevant leaders from the International Cooperation and Exchange Division and the School of Nursing. Five experts and scholars from the University of Wollongong, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Oita University of Nursing and Health Sciences, Griffith University and Chiba University gave academic lectures concerning artificial intelligence, in-depth integration of information technology and nursing, evidence-based nursing, and international development of elderly nursing.
This forum was conducted both online and on-site, which further promoted the communication between experts and scholars in the field of nursing at home and abroad, deepened the exchanges between foreign experts and teachers and students of our university. Through this forum, more teachers and students broadened their horizons, learned international advanced nursing concepts, and absorbed new ideas for innovation and development in the field of nursing, which further improved the academic development level of nursing and the level of talent training in our university, and promoted the international development of our university.
